Anita Ekberg

 

Kerstin Aita Marianne (Swedish pronunciation (listen) 29/09/1931 - 11/01/2015) was an Swedish actress popular for her beauty and striking physique. Her role as Sylvia in Federico Fellini's film La Dolce Vita (1960) earned her fame. Ekberg resided primarily in Italy and then became a permanent resident there in 1964.

Following her small debut role as an archaeologist in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, 1989's Elsa Schneider - a Nazi-sympathizing character - in A View to a Kill (Bond film, 1985), she went onto perform the role of Nazisympathizing Elsa Schneider.
