Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, also popularly known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw is a well-known British stage and stage actor who gained popularity when she appeared in"Doctor Who" (a British science-fiction TV show) The show aired on BBC channel. Handler's stand-up career began when she was part of an all-female Oxygen TV cast in the reality show with a hidden camera and practical humor series Girls Behaving Unsteadily. Between 2002 and 2005, the show aired. The handler began to appear on various other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was hired for The Tonight Show as a correspondent. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 when she became the host of E! The Chelsea Handler Show. It lasted two seasons. Handler later performed in the US on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcast her stand-up comedy shows. It was announced in 2010 that she was to host the MTV Video Music Awards 2010. It made her the 2nd female in history, following Roseanne Barr, to host VMAs.
